Las Vegas Pattern Contest new directions

The new 215 beltway does go around the South and West side of Las Vegas, but
does not connect across to the North section. The section completed along
the North passes East/West across Decatur but the location where it
intersects with I-15 is WAY too far North. So, depending on where you are
staying, there are 3 ways to drive to the field coming from California.

1. Continue North on I-15 past Las Vegas downtown and exit on Craig Rd. The
take Craig Rd. West until you reach Decatur Blvd. Take Decatur North from
there.

2. Driving North on I-15 take the 95 Expressway exit and drive West/North
(signs say to Reno) for a few miles and take the Decatur exit. Then drive
North on Decatur and follow the directions below.

3. Same as #2, but continue on 95 past the Decatur exit and drive about 10
miles to either the Craig Rd. exit or continue past the Santa Fe Station and
exit on Ann Rd. Take the exit street to Decatur and drive North.

Don't forget with #2 Decatur jogs to the left at Rancho.

Depending on traffic, they all take about the same amount of time.

Hey Tom,

I assume the new 215 beltway runs east/west across the north end of
town between 93/95 and the 15. Is it completed and open for traffic?
If so, I'm just wandering if it wouldn't be faster/easier to take 15
North to 215 West and then exit north on Decatur?

Thx, Jerry
