Jarvis, Fitzgeralds is right down town, and you can get on 95 and zip out to
the field in about 20 min. I've never seen the rooms, but I imagine it is
fairly nice.
The 3M aluminum pipe for the 140 is $109. You can have it for $100 at the
contest, if you are interested. Weight is 5.3 oz.

Tom Collins.

Don't forget the Las Vegas Pattern Contest this weekend, 5/17-18/03. The
contest field is the North Las Vegas Model Park, located at the far
North end of the city. There has been a lot of new construction in the
area, so below is the latest and best method to drive to the field.

Decatur Blvd. has now been paved to within 1/2 mile of the field. Find
your way to Decatur and go North until you pass the new 215 beltway.
Continue North on Decatur for 2.5 miles and you will come to a water
retention basin. There are detour signs to drive around the retention
basin, so drive on the dirt road around the South and East side of the
retention basin. The field is 1/4 mile to the East. You will see the
    field from this point.

We will have direction signs posted.
