I grind them off, one leg at a time, when they break. But mine don't break. 
If you learn to land gently, yours won't either (BRG)

Seriously, think about it. Why do you need removable pants? In a bad landing, 
the pants are the sacrificial parts. They will likely need replacement. 
Soooo, replace them
