HI All,

My Kavan was lacking performance and charge holding. I thought for sure I
needed new batteries. I was using the standard wall charger for 2 years.
At the field, a friend charged it up using his field charger and it really
came to life. I then ordered the Triton from Hobbico and started using the
"Discharge-to-Charge" function. Now, the battery seems to be performing
like new again. The triton can charge: Nicad, Nimah, lead-acid (pb),
li-poly, li-ion. It is easy to use also and will charge 1-24 cells of nicad
or nimah.

Try a fresh set of batteries first.
Some packs develop a self dischage rate that is excessive. You might be able
to identify a single cell that is root of the problem but the best way to
solve the problem is to try another pack.

A 140 mah charge rate would also make a big difference.
