MK elevator misalignment (part 2)

Thats a spiral wrap.  You can make the same thing by taking a plastic drinking straw and a pair of sissors and cut the straw at angle. Kinda like peeling an apple in one pice.
Then warp what ever you want.  It has light tension enough to hold wires from flopping around or fraying on an edge.
