Sorry about the busy. Your right the amount you have to adjust the wing is minimal and usually a one shot deal if the plane is built straight. But it is nice to have the ability for full adjustment if necessary. What I did was to cut 1" off the end of the tube install 1/8" thick lIte ply plug backed with .0070cf plate to keep ply from compressing in ends of tube with hole drilled in the center and then bolt the 1" piece back onto the tube. Now I can bolt the wings onto the tube and still rotate them 360deg. Sounds like allot of work but only took about 20 min.

Dave,
I called that number but it was busy every time?
In my planes I use the nylon insert from Lamar Blair. This allows me to lock one wing up solid and have a small slot in the other end of the wing tube where teh 4-4- goes. The tube is not threaded for the 4-40 bolt, the nylon/Teflon insert is. Then when one wing needs to be adjusted more than the other the insert slightly rotates. The insert is a tight fit so it does not fall out. In truth I have only had to do this once.
Regards,
Eric.

If you are interested I have a fix for the problem of being able to adjust wing panels independently when you have them bolted to the wing tube. I'm not very good at typing so if you want to give me a call I will tell you how I did it. 1-413-229-2345
