Matt
What you said I don't understand, because if the first roll starts at horizontal and ends at KE and the next 1/4 roll starts at KE and ends at horizontal the center isn't in the middle of KE.

Am I DUH?

Jim,
I think this one's the end of the K.E.portion of the roll, just at the point when you initiate the second half of the roll.

Sorry Bob I miss read your question. I think knife edge is center of the 4 of 8 point. Now Let me ask. Where is center of the cuban 8 with 2 of 4 points. My last thread refers to this question.Jim Ivey

Georgie,

Any roll starts and ends with a rolling element.

The 2 of 4 starts the instant the first 1/4 roll is started and ends the instant the second 1/4 roll ends.

Split the distance between those two events and you have the middle of the knife edge, however short or long it may be.
