Georgie,

This is an oldie from the then Expert Pattern I think
. Pass center, 3/4 Loop, push, one outside loop, pull, 1 1/4 loops, hence the 
run.
 The loops must touch in the center. 

The sucker took  what seemed like five minutes to do, like the Sq Hor Eight.
