Team Selection from the CD

Hey Folks,

I'm sorry I have not jumped in here sooner, but between cleaning up after the TS, going back to work, making sure the wife got out of town to go visit her parents, taking care of......oh you get the idea.  I wanted to throw in my two cents.

First of all I would like to thank Tony Stillman, Earl H. and everyone for all the kind words. I would also like to thank all the judges for there hard work.  I know that especially after Saturday, that they had to of been brain dead.  Talk about mental exhaustion!!  And of course a big thank you to Mike and Maureen Dunphy for all there hard work and late nights.  Maureen did a wonderful job scoring, and Mike was always there to make sure we were right on track with all the judging questions.  The head jurist was Chris Lakin and was accompanied by his wonderful wife Diana.  Talk about two great people!  Chris had a terrific attitude and did a wonderful job keeping the me on track.  KUDOS TO ALL THE STAFF!!!

It means a lot to me that everyone thought it went well.  It was a real pleasure to host such a pristine event.  Granted, there were times that I thought to myself what the hell did I get in to!  But as Tony said to me the night of the awards ceremony, after the smoke clears and the dust settles, I will look back and think; "Well that wasn't so bad". Well Tony, you were wrong.....ha ha!  Just kiddin.  It wasn't that bad at all.  Which brings me to my next point.....Who will be the next to CD the Team Selection?  If little ole me can do it, than anyone can!!

As I said earlier, it was a pleasure and more so a honor to host.  I was able to meet a lot of great people, and look forward to seeing all of you again real soon.

Well, it's getting late and I seem to be rambling on....so I will cut it off for now. 

Thanks again, and a big congrats to the new 2003 F3A USA Team!  NOW GO KICK BUTT!!!
