Did you try heating it in the oven at about 250 degrees?  That sometimes
helps.

Can anyone tell me how to get the wrist pin out of the piston after the
clip is removed? I have tried to hook it and pull and it won't budge.
By the way the rod will rock on the crankpin ,so it is worn pretty bad.
