Hi Jim, for what its worth, I have added a $25 air filter to all my OS 140s and Webra 145s and feel that it is protecting the piston, ring and sleeve on these engines, it will not help a lean run but Patterncraft sells this filter and it fits the OS or the Webra carbs
I have no interest in this company I heard about them from a friend and am just passing it along. Hope you have better luck with
