Servo question

Rudder became much more accurate and postive throughout the travel. Roll, then input rudder, the digital felt like it was making the plane do what the stick was doing more accurately. The low degree deflections (both as you go into a knife edge position, and if you are correcting) just seem to work better (the less blowback Troy talked about).
Aileron, the plane stops rotating in a snap more in time with the release of the servos. I didn't realize the 3301's were slow to stop the rotation until I put faster servos in. Also on regular rolls the plane just rolls more accurately with my stick movement.
Elevator, I think it is again the less blow back that makes the difference (thanks Troy for the educated answer). On the push from 45down to inverted level in the P03 hourglass the 8411sa was simply more accurate and true to my stick position. I didn't realize the coreless servo wasn't capable of holding the elevator where I told it to go throughout that push until I put the new servo on. That corner was the biggest difference. Inverted flight was easier to hold level (prolonged flight is easy regardless of servo, its getting into prolonged inverted flight without going up or down that is hard).

In all three cases I didn't realize there was anything wrong or weak until I put the new servos on.

  Adam,

What was this big difference that you noticed?

I noticed a big difference when I switched from a coreless JR rudder servo to a 8411SA, a big difference when I switched from JR 3301 digitals in ailerons to JR 8417s, and a big difference when I switched elevator from JR 4131 to 8411SA.
