The solution is to use a stainless bearing. I'm not sure why OS does not use
one from the start, they solved this in the .61 Hanno and I've been using
stainless bearings in these engines for long enough to be certain that it helps
greatly. So I don't understand why OS is not using stainless, but stainless
will solve/greatly reduce the problem. We've been getting 400+ flights vs
100-125 on standard bearing. Any bearing house can provide these or Jerry Budd has
them on his site.
