Jerry 
I agree with most of your post and wonder why your first paragraph or 
something similar is not added to the judges guide? This would help explain 
how to apply these items within the present system.
BTW I agree with your comments on smoothness I have seen this happen to many 
times to count, some smooth maneuvers scored high even though they were flown 
at an angle to the field and were partly out of the box.
