  You can find directions and info at the local club's web site of:

http://www.ocmrc.us/ The field is locked when not in use, and there is a
strict noise limit (slightly higher than the current pattern limit, but hard
to meet on some Giant Scale setups)

Two reasonably good hobby stores are:

Creek Hobbies  ( a good 1-hour drive from Toms River;
http://www.creekhobbies.com/ )  By the way, Creek Hobbies is in the process
of moving to another store/location

and  the second closer store is Jackson Hobby Shop, (732) 364-3334

      We are going to visit some friends in Seaside Heights, New Jersey near
Lakehurst.  Could someone help with directions to the flying field (only to
look) and maybe a good local hobby shop?
