Storm info

Chuck....I have a Storm EX and the CG is at the middle of the tube.
These planes were designed for the 120, however, mine has the YS 140L.
That engine is somewhat taller than the 120 so I had to shim the front
of
the engine cover down to clear the head. Also, the 140L shakes quite a
bit more than
the 120 so the head will/may hit the engine cover. Don't try to use a
Hyde 120 mount on the 140
because the 120 mount is not stiff enough...you will have to get the
Hyde 140 mount...I assume
that you are using the Hyde...hehe
I dont know for sure about the interchangeability of the two engines as
far as rear
projections...the mounting holes and nose ring are the same though.

Can someone share the CG location for a Storm?

Also, the YS FZ120 and 140L are interchangeable from a mount / nose ring
perspective, correct? (i.e. Can I swap one for other without airframe
changes)

Thanks in advance, Chuck
