A company named Ramsey in New York has a hand held IR temperature
measuring device for $49.95. Has anybody ever seen/used one of these
devices, or done business with Ramsey?
TIA

I have one made by Stanley Tools that I use to check engine temps with. As
Bob P. says, it will tell the difference between lean and not lean. You may be
surprised the info gained by its use. One thing I have noticed around flying
fields, the cheaper that the IR devices get, the more of them you see being
used. I believe the heli guys use them a lot.
