Off-Season Play Plane?

Bob,
If you want to use it for 3D, go ahead and get one, but if you want a
practice pattern plane that flies like your Viper get a Cermark Javelin.
I found out the hard way that all those thick air-foiled craft will
leave you extremely quizical as regards the imprecision of your elevator
inputs. I would definitely advise against the 60 size U-can-do. I had
one and with max rudder deflection and 30 degrees of ail & elev it
wouldn't snap on the Masters 45 down line or the rev. avelanche. Plus,
if you tried to execute smoothly, you really had to struggle.By the time
you would complete a sequence, you would release a huge sigh of relief,
and be longing for your Javelin.
I think they probably work well for their intended purpose.
