I'm running a 4 cell 1900 mah Duralite pack. I'm not really saving much weight, but the big gain is around 10-12 flights with out recharging and having in-pack redundancy.

Nope....1600mah will be "used" before 1800 mah....given identical loads/servos/use.

Longer usage before charging

I'm finding most 2 cell, 1600+ mah Lithiums to be weighing around 2.5 oz or so....plus a regulator (required), another .6, total of 3.1 oz. And NO fast field charging. And special charger. NiMh 5 cell pack, 1800mah, same reg reqd., about 5.8.... Besides saving the 2.7 ounces (in my application), what are the REAL *other* advantages of going Lithium ?
