located on the leading edge of the wing tube. If you need anymore please let

Lamar,

Finished one of the airplanes I picked up at the swap meet and am now
working on the Jekyll. Still working to locate the CG. My Jekyll has a one
piece 67 inch span wing, with a root chord of 14 inches and a tip chord of
8.25 inches. Wing area works out to about 754 sq in. Is that enough data to
allow you to estimate which Jekyll I have? Playing with some numbers I come
up with the CG location being in the range of 7.25 inches and 8 ,25 inches
from the trailing edge. Is that about right?

I assume my version of the Jekyll was designed for apiped 60 as compared to
my Hanson Runaround it seems on the small side in wing area. CG location
bothers me in that with a YS120FS installed it balances quite tail heavy
tail heavy at a point about 7.25 inches forward of the trailing edge. Since
the guy I bought it from had flown it a fair amount and it was still in one
piece, I am guessing that the design CG location is further back than 7.25
inches from the trailing edge.

Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Dave

Start with the CG at the front of the wing tube.

Picked up a Jekyll at a swap meet for a knock around practice ship.
Can anyone tell me where the recommended CG position was located?

Thanks.<
