District 4 Champs - Was AMA 2005 Proposed Schedules

We will. Last year was the first year of night freeforall. We usually have several night contests including the favorite...Limbo, and Carrier landing.

The Cinci boys have a great carrier set-up complete with strap on tow-hooks and an elastic anchored catch cord. Makes for some interesting landings...

I understand that concern Mark. I know you were pretty worried about it last year. It would be cool if the night flying had some sort of structure involved for at least a part of it.
Just in case we can't do the normal festivity's. Mike

Just remember we need a certain amount of rain or else we'll burn half of Kentucky. Given that their number #1 cash crop is NOT corn...that could get expensive.

Hey sound good to me. I again will be flying one of the illuminated targets. I'm not worried about getting hit by those amateurs. I hope the weather on Sunday is better than last year. Mike

I'll talk to him about creating an unknown for maybe both Masters and FAI to fly (or any that wanted to try) and fly one or two rounds of it on Sunday. A lot would depend on the weather...I would want to ensure that we were able to fly 4 or 5 regular rounds, especially if the district points are close.

We can also maybe have a schedule for the night fly planes to fly...has potential...

As for the fireworks...I depend on the boys from Michigan to provide the pyrotechnical presentation...and they NEVER fail to outdo their previous years endeavors :)
