I have been told by an informed source that Jason's packs take 1-1/2 hours to charge; that they won't take a "fast" rate.  That seems to be about the only
rat, other than the cost ~$750 per pack.  Same source told me that Jason is taking along 6 or 8 packs.
Also was told that Jason just didn't pull this out of his pocket last week.  He's been working on the concept for over a year.  And flying it.  Like you, I
would love to have seen it at the Nats.  (And the Team Trials.) While I can see both sides, I presently hope that he certainly has enough sense (similarly to
what the military says) to avoid soiling in his own mess kit.
