Poland - Electric.

Hey Mr. Jim,

He certainly has the right to fly whatever he wants to be competitive at
the World Championships. But we, the other US pilots that he
represents, expect him to do his best with the best equipment at his
disposal. The question is, is that what he is doing? I still say it is
a risk. If it doesn't work out well then he will be letting himself,
his team, and the US down. If it works out, then we all learn something
from it.

It will be interesting to watch/learn what reception the judges will
have for electric pattern planes. Will this type of plane be truly
competitive with the others in all flight envelopes? Whatever the wind
conditions? I really don't know. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Bill

In my book he has earned the right. His reputation can stand the risk,
if that's what is at stake. He's highly capable of this decision.
Somebody had to walk on the moon first didn't they?
