DIST 7 WHITTER NARROWS PATTERN CONTEST/ DIRECTIONS & HOTEL INFO

Hey Guys,
Aug 9 and 10 is the Whitter Narrows pattern contest.Here are some direction for those, coming from Northern Cal. Take the 5 South Freeway to Los Angeles, then jump onto the 60 East/ Pomona Freeway to the city of South Elmonte. Exit Rosemead Blvd, head North on Rosemead Blvd for about a 1/2 mile. Get into the left turn lane an enter the Whitter Narrows Rec Park. Entree fee, per car load is $3.00/ Show your AMA card, or let them know that you are there for the contest your entree is free. There are some near by Hotels, Motel 6 $32.50 located in the city of Hacienda Hts about 15 min away, Also there is a Ramanda Inn about 3 min away, you can see it from the flying field around $60.00 per nigth, But very nice. there also other located near by 15-20 min away
