  Hey Folks,

I have great news. Gavin Cole Brown was brought into the World on Tuesday, the 29th of July @ 12:41p.m. 19 3/4" lg. & 6' 1.7oz. There is a little problem though....he was 5 weeks early. So with that came a slight immaturity of the lungs, which means he is in the "NICU" (neo-natal intensive care unit) They have him on antibiotics for pneumonia and a breathing machine to help assist his lungs.

The good news is that he has made great improvements, especially in the last 24 hours, and should be off the breathing machine in the next day or two. He will have to stay there though for the next ten days to finish out the antibiotics, but should be able to come home at that time.

This is mine and Carol's first child, and we are very excited, even though we are off to a rocky start. I apologize for being off topic, but I wanted to share this information with my pattern buddies. Needless to say, my pattern flying has come to a halt.....But for a great cause!! So, if you would, burn a tank of fuel for me. Thanks!!

  v/r
