Loctite

On a somewhat barbaric note, if you can destroy the rest of the engine mount
and remove it, you will be left with an exposed portion of the bolt you can
cut off.

If there were blind-nuts with "nylon" in them for bolt retention, we would
not have have this situation.

Best of luck,
Jim

Subject: Loctite

I had a bad landing during severe wind conditions the other day and
the engine mount tore. When I first built the plane, the engine mount
kept loosening up, so I loctited the bolts. Now the loctite is so
strong that the blind nuts are turning on the firewall! No room to get
pliers in there, so I don't know how to get the bolts out at the
moment. Anybody out there have any suggestions?
