I agree.
However, that does require more manpower to do.
Sports Car events in the 1960's always provided a "dash plaque" to each
contestant.
It was a simple engraved metal tag about 1" by 3". If they ran out, it was
easy to mail
the remainder. They did not cost much, and they store easy. I think I have
a couple of
bushels of trophies in the the garage attic.
