damaging hail?

Hi Terry,
The thing I learned about hail this weekend is that it is more than just 
golf ball sized ice balls falling on your house and cars.  They are rocket 
propelled ice balls.  The same hundred mile per hour winds that circulate 
and create the hail also propel them down to the ground. I tried to cover 
my cars with blankets,but was pelted into submission.

Of course its al melted today.  Call me Terry and email me off list.  I'm 
in Plano and would love to host you as a visitor at an area flying field. 
I'm a member at them all.

    Has anyone been hit with damaging hail? I know Plano TX and 
surrounding area were. I will probably be working  there by the end of the 
week. Any flying flields close? Terry
