Pattern Pilots Manual

I like the Pattern Pilots Manual idea - It would be an excellent pattern
marketing tool. Those of us imersed in pattern don't tend to think of it
much, but there is plenty of room for additional means of spreading
the pattern word.

If we wind up taking info out of the AMA rule book (annex proposals etc.),
and reducing the K-Factor access (handy availability, frequency of publication,
increasing hard copy costs, etc.) a Pattern Manual would be a handy way of
getting useful information back into one place and providing media for our
equipment suppliers. There is of course a cost concern - some things have
a tendancy to go in circles. <G?>

The manual would contain everything that a new pattern or seasoned pattern flyer needs to know about NSRCA/AMA pattern. The current rule book (appropriate sections) could be included. It could be updated annually and provided to members and prospective members at contests, by mail, on-line, etc. Some thinking would have to be done to insure that all members have access to the information...especially those not connected to the Internet.

We need a way for pattern product providers to get the word out...so we can find what we need...and they can peddle their wares....<
