Stripped threads

Tim,  It looks to me like there is room to drill a little deeper and pick up 
a few more threads.  Also you might beef up what's left of the originals with 
some JB Weld and then tap the whole length including the longer hole at one 
time.  You'll probably have to purchase a "bottom" tap to reach the few 
additional threads you're picking up, but I am sure they are available at a 
machine supply type of outlet.  You'll have to come up with a little longer 
bolt, but this I suspect would be the easiest way to handle it.  Hope this
