Just a "job well done" note....  I sent two USED JR 8231's in for routine service, thinking I needed gears, pots, etc.  They checked everything out, and decided some "resistor" needed replacement, so they did that....both servos work flawlessly, and even though WELL out of warranty, they serviced these for free.
    They did not replace gears or pots, evidently finding something else to be causing the problem.
    Now that is excellent service!
