JR 10SX2

I have a JR 10SX2.  It didn't come with a manual or box, and I am in the market for a new SPCM receiver.  Will the 8ch SPCM work with it, or do I need the 10ch Dual Conversion SPCM?  I am guessing the 8ch will work, because I have used this transmitter with many of the low-end JR and airtronics receivers, so I just need someone to confirm this for me.
