2 Elevator Servos?

Matt

I would recommend to use channel 2 and 8 for elevon setup, on of my planes
is set up this way. The time delay if there is any is not noticeable
(electrons are pretty fast <G>) but this way you have complete adjustability
(ATV) of the center and end points. If you go with the Y and single channel
you would have to use a JR Matchbox to achieve the same - but why if the
transmitter will do the same. BTW even with all the adjustability (ATV) you
may not be able to get it perfectly aligned for the entire range (assume you
are using some kind of clips [laundry clips with flat surface work great]
with long wires to make sure your elevator halves are deflecting the same).
If I have to compromise I usually set it where it is perfect at 25% or 30%
stick deflection (stick deflection to a point where you do most of your
corners, going into stall turn, etc.) and live with the small difference at
the maximum.

Good luck

Wojtek

	Subject:	2 Elevator Servos?

	Hi All,

I'm putting a new airplane together that has 2 elevator servos
installed in the stab. I'm using a Futaba 9CAP and was wondering which is
better, plug both servos into a Y and use one channel, or use 2 channels and
mix them.

I seem to remember something about the slave channel having some in
transit lag time on mixed 2 elevator setups?

	All opinions appreciated.

	Regards,

	Matt
