Tom:

I have used both.  The only problem we had with the 20% is that the low-end
is too rich.  This can cause the engine to quit in throttle-up.  The engine
makes so much power, you really don't need the 30%, but it is necessary to
have good transition.

I have not had to install any head shims on this engine, and I don't know of
anyone that has had to either.

I suggest you contact Richard Verano about the problem.  I'm sure he would
like to hear from you about any problems, as well as I'm sure he will get it
fixed for you!
