Aulos 63 (for YS 63 only?)

If US distributor or international order is not available, you might try
www.japan-direct.com or www.dynamism.com. I read about these in the Wall
Street Journal yesterday (cover of personal section). Both companies
specialize in importing Japan-only merchandise (mostly electronics).
However, Japan-direct takes special orders, and the article even mentioned
that they got an RC heli for somebody). Seemed like it would be interesting
to a serious RC crowd, with all of the stuff that Japan has that we don't..
FYI, Chuck

How would someone in the US get one of these?

Hi, All,
Well, for those who want a smaller pattrn plane for YS 63 as a cheaper
practice pattern plane. It is an ARC kit.
http://www.incl.ne.jp/~aircraft/aulos63.htm

take a look at the above link.
It is all in Japanese, but pictures pop up in new window when clicked.
Aulos 63 is a 80% scale of Aulos 2m plane. Capable of flying P-03 &
F-03.
Length & Wing span 1590mm
Wing area 45dm^2, 12% symmetrical airfoil, Tail area 10dm^2, Supra
retract
40 size used.
Weight 2750 ~ 2850g
5Ch 6 servos.
The plane looks very good to me.
