Use scaled down wings from sequel or prophecy. Typhoon wings are too big.
Or get one of the new pattern type ARFs.

Subject: More on 40/60/90 Pattern
Hi everyone, greetings from Chile!
I want to move on to "advanced" pattern. (Here in Chile we only
fly novice, advanced and F3A)
I'd like to build a nice plane for my Saito72. (I don't want to
get a .91 engine, I'll wait more and get a Webra145 for a 2m plane
later)
So, I have an engine that pulls more than my former 46FX but less
than a 90. I think the available 40 size models are too small and
the
60/90 too big. Here's my idea:
I'll take the typhoon 2000 plans, reduce them to 77% (60.5",
694sq.in.) and use an eppler 168 airfoil on the wing (1-piece, of
course). For the landing gear, I'd use fixed aluminium gear on the
fuse. Dry-weight should be under 2.5kg (5.5lb).
Questions:
- Does it sound good?? (Or at least would work better than
a
Tracer46, Venus, Spectrum or Tai-ji.40??)
- I'd build the tail group flat. Any suggestions for
airfoils on the stabs? Would I get any clear benneffits on an
airplane this size?
- Would retracts work better? There's a lot of weight
there!
Thanks a lot for your comments/suggestions!!!
