I heard that Chip's old and trusty bipe, is new, modified and more trusty. (new cowl, stab, fin, 200 cc engine, and who knows what else...)
May be he needed that little 'more trusty' to win! ;-)
Also the kid from Brazil was a surprise to many.

Our site is silent on the TOC news. Here is a great day-by-day French site keeping news flowing http://www.voltigef3a.fr.st . Lots of crashes due to engines as well as structural... Chip is doing great, specially in known flying his old and trusty bipe. Jason is also getting attention and high scores. CPLR is not dominating, except for solid free flying scores. Somenzini seems to keep consistently near the top.
