Two/Four Stokes

The MVVS 1.6 gasser was pretty close;  spun my Bolly 16.5 x 12 at nearly
8100 rpm.  Plenty for a good Masters sequence.  Problem was weight. Motor
only 31 oz....but then, ignition and BATTERY, then switch, and the weight
went up pretty high.  For reliable use, the ignitions today need pretty high
current densities to run reliably, at least most manufacturers recommend an
900 mah or larger NiCad.
    On a pipe, it was a great setup, reasonably-quiet, and the Walbro carb
made things pretty nice.

On the lighter side is the RCS 1.4, which is VERY light with battery and
ignitions module, BUT it won't turn much over a 16 x 8 APC very well.

Of course, Dick Hanson has done the ZDZ 40 RE on a pipe in his own design
pattern bird.  Turns a 19 x 12 or some such around 6900 for flying....but he
had to do a LOT to the airframe to get the weight down, as that motor combo
is over 3 lbs, also.
