Whip antenna for Futaba 8U

Last year there was this same discussion on the "8U" list. Annmarie
Cross forwarded an email from Steve Kaluf to that effect. He was very
adamant that this modification would void the AMA insurance. Everyone
thought it was funny because that month's cover of Model Aviation had
some glider guiders with Ducky antennas.
