One more data point - My Focus is 10 lb 9 oz. I aggressively
sanded the wings, and carved some balsa and lite ply out of the
fuselage. No wheel pants. Has added cooling baffels in cowl.
1400 mah nicads, alum spar, OS 1.40, bolly pipe, original gear legs.

Happy Holidays,
Ron Lockhart

Overweight only becomes a concern at 10 lb 17 oz. : )
Anthony R's Focus could easily be under 10 lb if he threw large cash at it.
Not sure of the need to weigh under 10lbs with the big 2 strokes up front,
they can easily haul 12 lb. and more straight up out of sight.
Now if only YS would come out with a big 2 stroke, like a 1.50 AR that we
all could do R&D on.....deja vue !!!!!

With OS Rx and OS pipe, 1400 mah nicad and some carefull lightening to the
fuse 10# 6 oz! Add some CF and a Nimh I will be ten pounds but don't think I
will bother. Most come out at 10# 10oz before the unobtanium.

Anthony
