I agree with you about the nurses profession.  Right now, if I had a kid
looking to go into aviation, I would see if I could interest him/her in
becoming a nurse.  Pay might suffer a little, but in the long run, I
believe it to be a more dependable job.  Never known an established
nurse to be out of a job for long.  My granddaughter is a nurse in
Portland, OR and after a few months they literally begged her to take
over the  job of floor nurse.  And, she's young, and not too long out of
nurses school, either.
Didn't know you were so well established in Las Vegas with the pattern
bunch.  (As you probably know, most of them fly both pattern and IMAC.)
Frank Kelly got the pattern interest going, and I promoted the hell out
of IMAC and, next thing you know, guys were flying contests, we had the
IMAC nats 2 years in a row--competition just took off like a skyrocket.
All the bunch were looking for, was someone who had some experience to
guide them in the right direction.  After that, don't bother looking
back..............
