If we've interest / activity we should pursue participation. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as selecting a team and having at it.The AMA have a procedure for the establishment of a new team program that's pretty stringent. http://www.modelaircraft.org/files/UserFiles/File/TeamProceduresBookRewrite1.pdf  Something would need to come together quickly (still wouldn't meet some of the deadlines - maybe they can be changed). This appears to be a prefect project for our SIG.

  That would be pretty awesome! It would also put F3P on the map, so to speak. If the USA could field a team and participate, it could generate more interest across this country.

  Everyone,

   

  I noticed in the agenda for the upcoming CIAM meeting that a bid was submitted by Germany to host an F3P World Championship.  I know that this list is for F3A but I represent the USA for all F3 aerobatic events such as F3A, F3P and F3M.

   

  If there is any interest in participating in the F3P WC in Germany in 2013, then we will need to host a team selection event in order to submit a team to the organizers.  The good thing is that transporting several F3P planes to Germany is going to end up being a lot cheaper than F3A models, so I would imagine that there would be a lot of interest.  The bid is for bother seniors and juniors.

   

  What does everyone think?
